This large English Cottage Style home was constructed for accountant Charles Bernard Webster in 1922, it replaced a circa 1860s board and batten home constructed by Charles' father in the 1860s.
A permit was granted by the Borough Council to C. Webster on 26 April 1922 for the construction of a house on Fulford Street – Smith and Bleasdale were the builders, and the estimated construction cost was £1530.
